Lunes 11 de agosto de 2008 .- Cumana– Sucre – Venezuela.- Un sismo
moderado se registro en el Oriente de Venezuela a las 02:49 HLV con
magnitud 5,1 grados Ricther, y aproximadamente unos 25 segundos, las
autoridades locales informan que no hay reporte de personas lesionadas
ni fallecidas.
El epicentro se localiza a 15 KMTS al NORTE de Cumana, Estado Sucre, Venezuela.
Otros dos sismos de menor intensidad se registraron posteriormente.
